Two DJs will demonstrate and discuss their diverse styles. Mark Chai has been a Phoenix house/downtempo/funk DJ since 2000, and he is known to mix in house, hip hop, indie disco and dancehall into his sets. World Famous Rani “g” is a tireless track hunter always on the keel of the best edits, promos and unique music. Forever digging digital and vinyl crates for serene soul, sexy, thumping Afro, Latin-driven deep house and World-Beat, Rani’s musical journey began on the island of Cyprus when he was 10 years old and blended tunes using two cassette tape decks. Rani has hosted many DJ events and has had numerous guest appearances around the country. He recently opened for Mark Farina (OM Records, San Francisco).
